The 10 000 Steps a Day Challenge

You don't have to spend hours in the gym to get fit and stay healthy. In fact, just as important as what you do during exercise is what you do in the other 23 hours of the day.

how to join the 10000 step challenge

1. Find a way to measure your daily stride. There are many fitness trackers out there. You can wear them on your wrist or clip them on your clothes. If you don't want to pay for an expensive wearable device, you may or may not use it at the end of the challenge, then most smartphones track your daily steps (as long as you carry it with you all day, of course). Join livestrong.com challenge Facebook group. We'll post a lot of useful information and tips, answer all your questions, and connect you with other members of the community who are joining your challenge.

3. Post your progress to the team. Let the rest of the community know about your daily walk by publishing screenshots of your pedometer app, photos of your fitness tracker, or what you see in your daily walk. Maybe you go through the park at lunch or go hiking on weekends. We want to see!
